Makhana or Gorgon nut, also known as phool makhana has high levels of magnesium, potassium and phosphorous and have low levels of sodium, fats and cholesterol. It also contains flavanoids, with antioxidant and anti-ageing properties. It is a great munching snack that is also healthy.
